One question was related to the front seat lie flat seat requirement in all 2025 Volvo XC 90 sales-shill chuckwagon meals on wheels handi van rep mobiles so we can take our mid day 3 hour naps Every day.

Never seen the organization this bad. Haven't see the CREDO results but I've seen the behaviors of leaders and followers which has been disappointing to say the least. There are many great people in the organization but there are also those who play the game so well & they are the ones who are getting promoted and staying safe. They show up now when in the last couple years they did not and put the hard workers into a pit of burn out. The leaders then let go the tired people who worked hard to keep the lights on when 80% of the organization didn't want to show up and now the 20% who cared less to do what was right put on their masks to stay safe and pretend they care when they don't. HR, Communications - the worst of the worst they preach the "rules" but have the best flexibility - total contradiction!!!

Seems like a true story founded in the D1 D2 VP waist land.

The leadership in key areas like Oncology is pitiful. I’ve worked in 4 oncology companies and have never in my life observed such poor direction, vision, communication and support for such an important part of the business in terms of revenue.
I have seen our credo results and we are vastly lagging behind the company average scores. They think we are lucky to be here but the truth is, leadership are lucky to have us and lack any insights into how difficult it is day to day to stay motivated
The top leaders in oncology talk a strong game, are active on LinkedIn, but have almost no connection with the staff under them.
We cannot win in solid tumors, we are directionless

That is what happens when leadership hides behind this false credo! They talk the credo, but no one in the company, nor the company itself, lives by the credo. Ask a poor CVM rep how the credo feels! CVM is the place to be! No, we need to cut every last one of you so our ceo can get his 177% salary increase for keeping the stock price stagnant! Credo my big toe!

CREDO has devolved into a weapon to cover poor leadership, lack of common sense and to justify out-of-touch decisions. I am a recovering CV Rep. Still receiving calls and texts from customers wondering where we are and how they can get assistance for patients. Isn't commitment to doctors and patients in the first part of the CREDO? So sad really. The "leaders" believe our customers have time to read the "important" emails they send and this was obvious before the shut down. Nope. They are actually quite busy doing patient care but you wouldn't know that having never really been in the field to talk to them.

Even some MSLs and KAMs were in complete disbelief that physicians didn't respond to their emails asking for time to meet. Why are you surprised? Don't you know what they do?

Unfortunately many of the past CV "leaders" made their way to Oncology. So sorry about that for you. We had the worst of the worst based on my career at multiple companies.

Decision makers are working in silos, mostly based on what is happening in NJ, while many company functions have been outsourced in order to make the books look better. Try getting an answer from any of the outsourced service companies when your question crosses their boundaries. The result is none of the outsource companies know the entire plan and what the others are doing. It appears no "leader" has their arms around all of this. I wish you all well.

Great insight. The help desk has been a hot mess since the 2000s. Someone in global services likely hired McKinsey to create a few nice slides on the benefit of outsourcing to India. i like how they don’t solve your problem but close your ticket. I’m sure driving great workforce productivity.

Nothing changes. The credo results have been dropping year on year and neither Jennifer or Tom address this on the commercial side
The leaders hired in both the US and home office are known inside and outside the company as serial failures with a track record of doing the opposite of inspiring their people. When will we learn?
The recent redundancies have been so poorly communicated that we don’t even know if the person on the next desk has gone or is on vacation and similarly the credo results are being swept under the rug
We all know the bad apples but no one is honest enough or brave enough to get rid of them - fix this now!!!!!
Oncology stinks

There may have been a point in time when Credo results had meaning and were taken somewhat seriously. Low Revenue or Poor Profit + Bad Credo Results was a great equation for getting rid of people at the top. Now, they just get rid of people at the middle and lower levels and it's all just a change in strategy. The only thing the results are used for now is individual leaders with good results showing off how much better they are than someone else. Job Security is 70%? Gee, no wonder. But this other leader has 40% so my group is so much better.

D1 here with 25+ yrs with J&J, always in MedTech. Credo = useless, meaningless, waste of time. Morale = worst ever. Talent = worst ever right up to the top. Many, many M1, M2, D1 with no direct reports just sucking up the LTIs. No vision, no direction. 20 yrs ago 90% of employees dedicated to J&J, 10% disgruntled, today complete opposite. No sign of things changing. No hope on the horizon. Joaquin is not the answer, white/red Adidas are not the answer. Thus far Tim = dud, just another LTI vacuum.

The prior comments are spot on. Very little sharing of results so we know they were not good. People are getting wise to J&J’s tricks plus a lot less old loyal employees with blinders on and a lot more younger less loyal and more objective employees now, some that have worked for other/better companies like Phizer, Merck, BMS, Medtronic, B&D, etc and have a good benchmark on what “good” is. My advice, in 2025 be 100% honest with your scoring and don’t try to kiss up. I used to give all 5’s no matter what due to trying to be a “loyal” employee but not any more. Others inflate their scores to kiss up but many of those people were recently laid off. Also my opinion - any manager that gives a PM to any direct report should receive a PM for not allowing them to excel and develop. The manager is accountable for the employee thriving and succeeding, that is their job description. Too often managers throw PMs around while receiving S/S or S/E themselves. How can a manager be doing well if one or more of their employees is struggling and not a S/S? It means the Manager did not do their job and just let it happen - likely with no guidance, coaching, development, or support

The best way to counter the Credo survey is not by giving low marks but by choosing not to participate in it altogether.

Now all the brainwashed idiots who got fired are posting a picture of themselves standing near a credo sign. Pathetic sheep who follow the flock. They would be better off standing near a free Palestine sign.

Respectfully disagree, you might be a J&J troll. If you don’t participate then your voice is not heard. Next year give all 1s, make a difference. 2-4s don’t make any difference

The Credo results are used to pimp J&J as a Top 50 company to work at. Please put down the Bong pipe. It has run its course in time. Like the confederate flag, time to take it down.

JNJ hasn’t made a business decision in line with the Craydoh since Tylenol.

Probably why they still reference that example.
