Hey y'all......just wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of reporting any bad behavior to the anonymous "credo hotline"? Through the years have always turned a blind eye to some of the questionable actions but recently feel obliged to spill my heart out in terms of FDA info, conflict of interests, relationships in the workplace, inappropriate facebook postings........etc.....but hate to bore anyone on CP with all the juicy stories. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Used to be concerned about retaliation, not anymore. I have enough evidence to go up the food chain with it. Just want to hear if anyone has had any success with the hotline and if anything gets resolved using it.

In all seriousness though..don't narc just to narc. If there is something serious then by all means report it but don't just try to stir stuff up

Prepare yourself for disappointment. They will open an investigation stating an unbiased division of JNJ attorneys will look into it. Ironically I have know three people (all from different divisions within JNJ) who did use the hotline and it's the same story. The attorneys found nothing wrong, even when faced with irrefutable evidence. Much like HR the hotline is out to protect the Company and not the employee. If it's FDA related call their hotline otherwise be prepared for retaliation and most likely termination.

In regards to the relationships in the workplace you mentioned.......wouldn't it be more fun to share with the spouses of the parties involved?

Ironically I have know three people (all from different divisions within JNJ) who did use the hotline and it's the same story. The attorneys found nothing wrong, even when faced with irrefutable evidence. Much like HR the hotline is out to protect the Company and not the employee. If it's FDA related call their hotline otherwise be prepared for retaliation and most likely termination.

We had a situation where we were being given sales direction that violated HCC. A friend of mine called the Credo hotline, within 24 hours it was addressed nationwide, and the situation was clarified and corrected. My friend never had any retribution, but the information was also left annonymously. In that case it did work.
