Cramer comments on the proposal by Horizon

Just saw Cramer say that he thinks this deal could be HUGE for Horizon, but isn't so sure that the deal will actually happen. He also commented that other pharma cos. could be jumping int o the fray; I hope JS and the advisory team are ready for the onslaught.

IMHO, we're gonna see at least 2 more companies jump into the bidding - with one being the robots at PFE.

I still don't get it.

According to Yahoo Finance,
Current market cap is $1.81 billion.
Total debt: $233 million (WTF!, didn't DEPO BORROW half a billion a couple months ago just to complete the Nucynta purchase? Has Wall Street's "mark to fantasy" accounting come to San Fran?)

Gross profit: $375 million. SOOOOOOOO Horizon is offering a near 40% premium to market cap to break even on 8 straight years of future *gross* profit?

Does everyone (including Cramer) think tapentadol products are going to steamroll the rest of the Scheduled marketplace JUST BECAUSE someone new is promoting them?

I've popped the popcorn, pulled up a lawn chair and am patiently awaiting one of two things: Either someone has the political muscle to get Nucynta rescheduled to a 3, or this whole clown parade marches right into a sink hole the size of a small ocean because otherwise No Way Jose will there be enough money to pay back that $0.5 billion dollars.

Refresh your Yahoo finance browser and read the latest news with Purdue...

Depo now has a $30 stock price AND the 'potential' to collect a few 'Million' in royalties from OxyContin.

Horizon deal is a no go but there's always Endo, Actavis, Pfizer, Lilly, & others who could come out to play.

Others could come out to play but since Horizon is unethical and trying the hostile takeover to remove Depomed management and force a vote with shareholders, they are first in line. Depomed isn't worth more than what Horizon is offering anyway. Plus it sounds like there just as shady and mismanaged as Horizon anyway! Tomorrows headlines - 2 Piece of Shit Pharma Companies Merge but no Reps are DESPERATE enough to work there....Chapter 11, isn't Karma a BITCH!!

Well skipper...here's what's missing from ur analysis. You are thinking like a rational human being. Horizon is run by a bunch of con-men and criminals. Their business modal is to purchase products...increase price ...10 fold the first day. They probably ran or of products to buy and figured they can apply this strategy too a company as well. So...40% premium will be paid back in the first 6 months after raising your drug prices to $2000 on day one!

Worst pharma company in the world!!!!! I used to work there. good luck
