Thats been going on for a few years, cool in concept but launching products that fast leaves lots of room for error in an effort to hit speed to peak in your new product sales. With 24 hour R and D you would figure the kinks would get worked out of some of the products prior to launch or very soon after issues are discovered. Did they ever get issues with 5mm Endo Clip 3 with clip logic worked out, it was nice to have the longer/stronger clips but clips just had trouble holding for some reason.

its not 24 hour R&D you Covidien dumbass it's 24 R&D centers which is 192 hours per day x250 days that's 48000 hours per year and who knows how many lame employees work there.

Launching products that fast????? your kidding right? they couldn't launch any slower if they tried.
 






Covidien Dumb ass? Really? I get what 24 R and D centers through out the world means. Covidien was working on a 24 hour a day R & D model where the american team works on certain projects like egia ultra or whatever then briefs a team in india or wherever they are on the other side of the world and the R & D continues on basically non-stop basis. So if they are still using that model but they have 24 R & D centers throughout the world I would think that the launch of products would speed up. Glad you have an internet crystal ball and can tell who I work for and what I know or don't know. By the way I don't work for Covidien......Dumb Ass.

Wasn't the PMO Group supposed to speed up product launches.......guess not but now COVINDIAHAVEN can accomplish little 24 hours a day. COV should move PMO & NPD to a planet that has longer days...that may help.

No worries, Hermes is on it! New R&D leadership, organization and a lounge to boot. He'll just need someone to brief him and his LT on what new products they're actually working on so they can begin work on his new press release. Personally, I'm inspired. A 5mm optical and longer Ligasure. What will they think of next?
