Covid Vaccines and Co-Travels

Want to gather some feedback regarding Covid vaccines and co travels because I’ve been facing some opposition from offices and I’m doing my best to be respectful to them (and my own boundaries).

I have received my Covid vaccine as of March. I am going into my accounts and they are aware that I have been vaccinated and they are comfortable with me coming in person largely in part because I’ve been vaccinated. Recently my regional manager wanted to coach travel with me, but she is extremely anti-VAX and anti-mask I didn’t feel comfortable taking her into offices with me so I politely asked to reschedule our co-travel because I don’t feel it’s appropriate to take an unmasked, unvaccinated individual into multiple offices throughout the day.

She was of course offended and it started a whole diatribe of political discussion that I don’t care to get into. I just want some feedback and if anyone knows company policy on this? Or if that’s even been discussed? Trying to avoid C&P because I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I also feel like it’s created an unspoken issue with my manager now and it’s awkward and I don’t want it held against me in reviews that I asked to not co travel with her.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Buy a MyPillow and read up on the latest QAnon threads. COVID is over. Wake up.

The real risk of cotraveling is when these cocky managers let a few slide. Next thing you know, your car is a veritable dutch oven and by the time you get to the first office, you've turned special ed.

Why are you so scared if you have the vaccine yourself?

This screams, excuse to not have my manager seeing if I am doing my job.

I can confirm. I know a manger in the northeast that is loctase intolerate who loads up on ice cream and cheese before traveling...just to get the mental edge on his rep. He usses cheese for the slow burn and ice cream to light the match. Watch out. This management team WILL get you

It’s disrespectful to my offices when I’ve been assuring them that I have been vaccinated. I want them to have peace of mind that I am not bringing any disease with me. So whoever I bring with me into their office should be vaccinated as well (my point if view). With this delta variant moving and creating more hospitalizations I think it’s fair for me to have concerns.

Good goy. Carry on.

I think you have every right to be concerned. you are vaccinated but could still get Covid from her in your car with you all day! Especially with delta variant alive and well. And if she goes into offices, she needs to tell then she’s not vaccinated or wear a mask. And if calling on drs who take care of immune compromised patients, no way!

What a sheep. It’s a flu with 99% recovery rate.
