Covid is still here, keep us safe

A note to HR/HQ/Managers: The Delta variant is ripping through your already vaccinated field force. Our colleagues are getting sick left and right with horrific break through infections. Yet NO ONE says a word about it. May not be in the hospital, but very sick nonetheless.
We want to be in the field. However, managers need to be told they aren’t allowed to ride in the same car as us. Period. No exceptions. Field rides need to stop or be minimized. It’s only a matter of time before offices close out reps again. Face to face POA meetings need to be put on hold. It’s too risky to get people together face to face. Many people have younger children who can’t get vaccinated yet. Have you thought about them?
Stop making it about getting the vaccine. A lot of us have. Let’s talk about the reality. We are still getting sick as hell out here and you need to help minimize our risk by listening to what we need.

It is not a matter of time. If your offices aren't already in the process of shutting down, consider yourself lucky.
Couldn't agree more about managers and POA meetings. Novartis is far too greedy and tone-deaf to give a damn about you or your family.
The day is coming, and it will not be long, when they can't simply ignore it any longer.

most of us agree with everything you stated. They seriously don’t give a rats ass about us or patients. They act like the pandemic is over and never mention anything about it. They care about one thing - money.

The CDC has not updated actual breakthrough cases since April-but most state health departments are. Take a look at yours. The increase over the past 3 weeks in states where kids have gone back to school has increased by as much as 500%. But let’s still not talk about it Novartis. Carry on as if you don’t have a responsibility to keep your employees, their young families, our customers and the patients we serve safe. Follow the damn science!! Until we can get booster shots like the sheep we have become STOP pushing field rides and internal face to face meetings on us.

Oh my god these heartless bastards ! Total freak out started sneezing this morning and realize I could be dead by tomorrow. What is the matter with you? COVID is a KILLER !!

Couldn’t agree more. What division are you in? My CRM region hasn’t had an in person meeting since covid. Nor does my Manager ride in my car with me. However, I hear Duane flying around the country and getting in reps cars. Unbelievable.

100% believable. He is a thoughtless, selfish, arrogant prick. Not unlike Exton, who let reps deal with the surge while he was pretending to be a Harvard student.
At this point it's starting to look like they enjoy rubbing the reps faces in it. They may be self-absorbed jerks, but they aren't stupid/oblivious.
Here's hoping when it hits close to home for one of them they finally grow up and take it seriously.

ABL’s need a job too and if you happen to have a good one and you actually work them there shouldn’t be an issue. How many other jobs can you go 6-8 weeks without seeing a boss and be given the freedom to just do your job! Be thankful and grateful to be in this position bc you never know when it will come to an abrupt end.

Jimmy Carter said thanks for voting for him, twice - he never imagined in his lifetime their would be a bigger loser as Prez, yet this guy did it in spades in 7 months!

Which of these terms have you used in an unironic way:

False flag
Sheeple
Mainstream Media (bonus points for throwing in an occasional lamestream)
Fake News
Own the Libs

If you've used all five (I bet you have) you are, in fact, as dumb as you look. Enjoy your trip to the Emergency Room this winter you ignorant ass.

“If you happen to have a good one…”
Either you are extremely tenured and forgot what freedom to do your job feels like, or you have a manager who gets it. This isn’t about not wanting to be with managers. Nor does it have anything to do with feeling grateful to have a job.
It’s about wanting to work for people leaders -not managers- who don’t hide and want to address the adversity their people are facing. It’s about the deafening silence coming from leadership. Time to be agile and adjust to the reality that our health care systems are overwhelmed and soon we will be locked out of offices again if we don’t show flexibility.

A note to this cowardly moron: The Publix grocery bagger has more courage than you.
Please go see the wizard & ask him for a brain as well as courage :D

None of the healthcare systems are overwhelmed. Sure individual hospitals sometimes get full- regardless of Covid. Even in the LA area non ICU beds are at 78% capacity with 13% of those Covid patients. The nation isn't going to "lockdown" again. Sure some offices are locking out reps but that's because the majority of reps suck and bring nothing to the table except some samples. I would say in my territory out of 10 offices you would have 4 that never saw reps, 2 that only did samples and 4 that you could openly see either through a regular visit or lunch. Now the same 4 still don't see reps, the 2 still take samples and the 4 that were wide open only 2 of them are still wide open but the other 2 can be seen by select reps.

Its really not that different. Access has always been a challenge. Your job is to work around those challenges and increase sales of your product.

This is the same clown that is ranked last every year. If you have to tell everyone how good you are. My bet you suck at your job. Thank Covid or you would be on a PIP.

Omg you’re a turd. Also, why not stop whining and advocate for Novartis to mandate vaccinations and lead by example. No one is asking you to die for your job. I agree it’s disgusting reps won’t get the shots but it’s equally disgusting to see people taking an extended 2020 spring break because they can milk a pandemic. It’s called balance.

How about everyone just be responsible adults and do what you need to to keep yourself safe - it isn’t the company’s responsibility. You are an at will employee and thus are at will you make personal decisions. Vax up, mask up and don’t be a douche

No one is dying at Novartis for doing there job. The odds are much better of dying in a car accident.
