Covid division IC plan SUCKS- Industry Worse

IC plan with false treatment rate is the worse in the industry.

If they do not remove the inaccurate & manipulated rate from rankings, you will see half the reps and RDs leave in 2022.

Whoever decided on including inaccurate made up metric like rate in IC, should be demoted.

VP & ED making a lot of bonus and a TON of RSUs that will turn into millions while reps get crap
 










I have been with gilead a long time & this is hands down the worse UC Bonus plan ever.
Everyone should be a t target payout given no competitors and only 6 reps are!
Our division is paying all the other divisions Salaries and Bonus not to.mention our VPs lucrative bonus & RSUs .
She gets a lucrative bonus & RSU but the sales force does not even get target.
Something is very wrong and its the stupid ridiculous treatment rate that is not accurate.

Agree over half reps and mgt will leave 2022 when industry starts hiring again.

How can you not like a plan based on activity metrics and admin work?? I’m so motivated!
Treatment rate is most ridiculous thing I ve seen in my entire career-- how they arrive at that is like grade school kids developed.

And that 5 day course of therapy is a flat out like that my Atlantic RD tried to spin! In fact it is based off an internal Gilead goal/# , not the actual avg treatment course!
Total BS made up metric that should never been used & mgt has had 3Qs to get rid of it and they didnt. If my RD keeps trying to spin this lie & non truth, he might get 100% vacancy come 2022..... well 90% as one person kisses his (@*$* & wanting Special RSUs.
 




Aside from IC, are there complaints about the division itself? Worth taking the role to move into other divisions or no?
I heard the VP is nice but so removed from her skillsets that the division struggles with engagement & motivation at the HQ level.

Seems the ED is a great guy but a micro manager.

Word is all the RDs over there are good to work with alot of specialty experience, except for NE & Great Lakes seem to have primary care non strategic mindset & not straight forward or trusting.
 




The Company seems good but the Covid BU is good in some regions & not so good in others.
I m in the Great Lakes & our management is 100% Primary Care mindset. Not an original thought about strategy other than tell us to look over weekly data to find hospitals not buying then remove them next Q.... but he talks a great game just not lot substance with true leadership. Just a check the box activity primary care enviriment here.
So depends on what region you are in as the true leadership varies widely as other regions seem to be more authentic & understand how to manage experience specialty reps in an account selling enviroment. A few over her do not. (HQ understanding of hospitals is a complete different story--- very elementary in institutional account selling so another reason to have a good manager to filter & not be check the box slick willy)

Whoever came up with random made up treatment rate formula need to be let go like the unvaccinated asap! VP EM RDs HQ whoever, shame on them for creating such a demotivating depressing and fake thing as treatment rate. If it wasnt so dam sad and pissed 100% of reps off, it been a bad dream!
Historical record breaking lunch was just destroyed the motivation and excitement one should have had in 2021.
My RD tries to avoid the topic with us as he knows its an inferno when he does! He doesnt want the heat we have around this !

DA - old school Pharma and KC in the northeast runs stuff what a joke as they look for a new job.
Just simple activity base primary care mindset. NE reps have 50% turnover less than a year and the division is about to get 50% if next years IC plan has the ridiculous fake unfounded treatment rate tied anyway to it!
Absolute total joke with BS treatment rate...
All while VP ED make record bonus for blowing out projections budgets then us reps who drive VPs career bonus & RSUs get squat!

Go do something else then. Take an office-based position with a mirror counterpart if that's what you want to do. It's not a perfect situation but nothing in the industry is now. I can tell you right now there are a ton of good reps that would line up to make the salary you're making and enjoy the benefits Gilead offers.

Ok so what’s the issue with the Covid division at Gilead? I hear the IC issue, so that means… what? Ppl aren’t hitting goals making full commission presumably. But with all of the complaining is it also bad access? Micro managing? Lots of firing? Are the managers mentioned above bad? Good?
