Territory Manager for Covetrus. Anyone have thoughts on this role? This company? Goals? Etc?

I've been informed that this position is salary first year and then 100% commission after that. No car, no credit card for expenses. Is this normal? I don't like the idea of having no base, especially for a territory I have not worked.

Thoughts?

Like any other job / company, no matter what industry you choose, your manager can make or break the position. Land a shitty manager, you’ll hate it and there’s not enough money to make it better. Draw a good manager, you’ll probably want to stay a long time. Been through 30+ years of both, trust me.

Is the territory an expanded territory or is it a mishmash of D accounts no one wants? If you're familiar with the territory, you should be able to see a list of accounts. If they're reluctant, trust that there's a reason.
