Court just ordered Nuva to pay Medtronic more

So Nuvasive doesn't own the Patent for the Coroent XL and Medtronic won the patent years back in that lawsuit???

Who knew?? NUVA's profits gonna drop since the Court juz ordered more money to Medtronic.

The original lawsuit ordered NUVA to pay 10% Royalties on the Coroent XL plastic spine spacer to Medtronic.

This new court ruling increases the Royalties to Medtronic to 13.75%.......ouch!

No wonder NUVA was so mad they lost their appeal.

....And on top of that the FDA ordered NUVA to relabel the box on the Coroent XL saying it can't bear loads.....double ouch...
