Corporate Genocide

This company has to be the most short-sighted, unrealistic, let's throw shit against the wall and see what sticks operation in the entire industry. What is happening this week is nothing short of corporate genocide. It's a complete wipe-out of everyone that is not tied to the green of the old Forest regime.

Be Bold: My ass
Challenge: My ass (god forbid you ever challenge someone to think outside the box and think about the repercussions of the boneheaded decisions they are making)
Commit: My ass

You Forest clowns in you ivory tower making decisions you have no ability to make are a disgrace to all of us that work hard to do things the RIGHT way...the STRATEGIC way.

You all like to claim how we are now a different company. I challenge you to give me one thing about this culture that is different from legacy Forest. NOT A THING. It all used to be laughable, now it's just really sad.

It's so sad to to see wha tis going on with the home office. Lots of folks who think the "wrong" way sent packing lately.

spot on. Forest has and always will be cheap, glorified caterers that believe they are a legit sales organization. They are brain washed robots that bow down to stupid shit the leaders tell them to believe. This place is toxic! The reality is that the culture here is now green and highly unethical.

Not to mention, Allergan legacy is forever tarnished due to the shit sticks that run this clusterphuck. What was once a great company is now shit due to Aholes like Saunders! Guy couldn't run a tuna boat in a toilet bowl!

what are they doing this week? I left months ago after refusing to ask offices to pull files for PA's. HIPAA violation and all. But I feel for those left behind and like to keep up because I had a great run here and met great people. So who are they laying off now?

There is nothing Bold about what's going on here.
If you Challenge anyone in management it's career suicide.
The only Commitment they want is for us to make 10 calls per day and to mindless follow the direction laid out at the last POA meeting.

There are far too many managers and directors in the company who are myopic mindless robots. And it's not limited to sales - although they and marketing are the worst offenders. Try talking to a sales DM about STRATEGIES for key accounts. They will almost certainly counter your suggestions with a list of tactics from the last POA meeting. Then explain the difference between strategies and tactics and watch a dumb blank look creep across their face. Most sales managers are unable or unwilling to differentiate strategies and tactics. To most DM's 10 calls at day is a strategy....3 speaker programs a quarter is a strategy.....2 expert on demand events per month is a strategy. IDIOTS! Strategies require thoughtfulness and account-specific insight. Allergan managers are not hired for their ability to independently think. On the contrary - they are promoted because of their willingness to mindlessly demand their reps employ more TACTICS, regardless of relevance or impact. MORE calls! MORE programs! MORE lunches! MORE EOD's! And don't forget to use one of the 2 dozen patient profile sheets to "educate" the doctor on every call! SMH....

If I didn't see this shit happening myself I would t believe it.

One last comment: old school Forest had a saying: focus on productivity, not activity. That mindset began eroding about 15 years ago and is long since gone. I think some of the Allergan and Actavis people would have enjoyed the Forest of the 1980's and 90's. It was entrepreneurial, encouraged independent and creative thought, and frowned upon useless activity. We had very little overlap so it was easy to tell who was driving business and who wasn't. And your DM treated you as an adult: they demanded hard work but respected your time and opinion. Unfortunatley those days have long since past....

The last paragraph is especially true. Forest more and more has evolved into a company based on metric activity, POD selling tactics and some really bad people (who are well known) running the show. It is like a plague that won't go away and the management (from DM and up) is literally one of the jokes of the industry. The sad thing is --- they don't care and will continue to push their outdated selling model and these robotic managers will do whatever they are told, no matter how ridiculous. Field morale is at an all time low. Hey Actavis and Allergan, how do you like us so far? Take me back to Forest in the 90's, it really was a great place to work!!!!!
