Corporate Culture

It is apparent that management has lost sight of what makes a company productive and viable. The culture has become toxic with metrics and treating the sales force like puppets. "Do as we demand." Upper management , a homogenous group of males, are dedicated to lining their bank accounts at all cost, prior to a buyout. Termination of reps are status quo regardless of ranking and sales achievements. The expansion last year was a cluster fuck. Some reps and DMs that were hired should have gone through a psych evaluation. Some territories made no business sense yet feedback is not welcome. Reps were given assignments designed for failure. Others walked into a gold mine, designed for success. Again, do as we demand Favortism is abundant. Shame on management for creating an environment designed to encourage discontent. Poison kills all the way to the top.

It is sad but true. The culture is oppressive, reps are treated like children, no one can explain how sales goals were derived, sales ops Is a cluster,'busy work busy work busy work keeping reps from selling effectively, POA's spent in role playing lines like pharma 101 kindergarten learning nothing new, no discussion around the real issues facing reps selling scheduled medications in the pain space, micro management, senior management takes zero responsibility for high turn over...at 30%+ attrition you would think senior management might investigate why people are really leaving the company and stop making excuses....it just goes on and on and on.

Got a call today from a recruiter about a CNS sales position for a Northern CA territory. Base salary sounded good. Any feedback on the products, marketplace, management etc?
