While I know this is mostly a sales board, i thought this info interesting:
1) Confirmed: Pfizer will be closing the Groton Site data center after they move all the servers out of New London & Great Valley (PA) . New London should be complete in July or August (1 month past schedule) It should only take 12 more months to complete the Great Valley server moves.
2) Confirmed: The lab Bench-top Computer maintenance group was told to look for new jobs (if there isn't research & development going on, why would you need a bench-top support group?)
3) Certain key sciences groups at Groton have only been guaranteed a position for 18 months.
Too bad the state of Connecticut is too stupid to see that Groton Site is the next Sandwich site (i.e.: to be closed ) ...
