The company they work for is paying Merck to do the contract...I.e. They are losing money hand over fist and just want the ability to say they have a Merck deal! Go figure.

Publicis does not pay Merck were you serious????? Publicis makes money that's what they are in business to do they have multiple contracts with Pfzier, AZ, Bristol-Myers Squibb etc. Merck is another great business deal for them and they are very picky when they hire their reps. However a contract is just that a contract and it can end at any time. Many legions of experienced reps. are on contracts even many ex- Merck reps. It is the Wave of the Future...Never take your position for granted and make sure you work hard every day!!!!
