Why do we have so many freaking reps? They need to consolidate! I have never understood why the integrillin reps only have one product? Why do we have tablet reps in the hospital? What the hell do the mgams do anyway? The port 1 hospital reps have nothing to sell. Let's face it, they have lost primaxin, avelox is lost to generic levo. very little cancidas business, very little noxafil. Invanz is struggling. Too many pc reps. Need I go on? Someone explain why one division could not sell all the hospital products. I have never seen a company that spends so much time accomplishing nothing. Merck needs to do away with all the YES MEN! Too many butt kissers. Time to get smart and consolidate

If you're one to ask, they probably have plans to push you out the door. They've done a lot of that in the last couple of years. The good ones aren't afraid to leave; it's the unemployable debris that's afraid to leave.

One of my former coworkers volunteered twice, but wasn't let go. They had other plans for him. A well-paid multiple-VP winner. They didn't want to pay his severance, so they gave him a new boss and pressured him out. It's typical Merck behavior these days. I've grown to hate this company. I regret ever joining Merck.
