Consolidation - Medical Supplies

I am interviewing for a Monitoring and OR position but have heard there might be a consolidation of divisions? If that is not the case and I am misinformed what is earning potential? Any info would be helpful.

I'm part of this division and we've heard nothing to this effect. This is one of those rumors that has zero merit or substance to substantiate it.

Sounds like you're the last to know. Don't feel bad, last time I heard that same quote it was made by someone in the Clinical Care division. Course, three weeks later we were all shitcanned by the "Diaper Genie." Good news for us is we were picked up by Nellcor, VL, and USS...make double the money with half the hassle.

Wow the folks in surgical and Nelcor have it made. The recent post on this site make it seem awesome over there. Funny how the shitcanned always feel they are doing better.

I can promise this:
Corey Moritz's replacement as central AVP in EBD
Will clean house in late July and August.

Just in time for Oct 1....

Covidiens best days are in the past.
Get out before you get caught with your pants down.

My wallet "feels" better. My retirement package "feels" better. My pride "feels" better. I haven't made less than $210 in my three years post-layoff from "Nursing Care." I don't work more than 30hrs a week...ever. I am part of the company where we actually innovate new products that make a difference. I am part of the company that is discussed by upper management- not some afterthought last sentence in an analyst report. How's it going in supplies?

Supplies is good waiting to see the outcome of hercules I know that won't effect you. You are a top performer making 210 a year working nearly ever. Good luck out there.

What a crazy idea to mix a donkey with a horse... Apparently, the upper management from Boulder doesn't know and doesn't want to know the Surgical Devices... To manage several hundred EMID/STI SKUs vs. 30-40 EBD’s becomes an unbearable task creating severe headaches... There may be a corporate governance issue with a couple relatives running the show… Let’s hope someone in the board is smart/brave enough to blow the whistle…
