Conmed transition territories.

You are correct. The RSM has past history with Stryker and he was hand picked by Hartman. He has been gunning for the VP job since his first day and he will burn through as many reps as possible to accomplish his goal. He bad mouths the VP any change he can get to all the reps. Major problems with NC and SC. Good choice to avoid this mess.

There have been a lot of changes in the VA territory since last year. New associate reps with no experience and the veteran sales reps all left. Roanoke is falling and the Beach is open with almost no business.

stay away!!!! Esp if you have something
Chesapeake Territory (Maryland, Virginia and DC) has started the death spiral. The representatives are complaining and the team set up by Newsom is freaking out. Territory realignment and CMS was fired by SH as he is following his failed Arthrocare management playbook. Trevor the District Manager has no clue which is expected since he had no experience as a manager prior to joining Conmed. Dumping Video equipment into accounts at no charge will not work.

A manager position filled with someone outside of ConMed... no surprise here.
After fifteen months of changing territories and selling used video equipment, the Maryland territory has just collapsed. The Washington DC representative resigned last week and one of the Baltimore representatives is looking to leave Conmed. Problem is no one wants to hire a former rental car salesman. Low paid Case Coverage representatives are running around looking for cases and are finding the surgeons have switched to another vendor. Northern Virginia is completely dead and all capital sales have been lost in Washington DC. No one has faith in the District Sales Manager and the Regional Manager has no relationships outside of Ohio.

The music has stopped playing in Virginia and Maryland. Word is every representative is now at 80 percent to quota and the regional manager has made a number of trips to salvage any business. I don't think there is any business left in Washington DC. As they said in Animal House, "If I were you I would be .......leaving!"

the most recent job outing shows the state of the company better than anything. Experience required for producing while losing market share, experience with product complaints. I cannot believe they put that on the website open to the public.
