You grew MDT at HALF the rate of BSX in Q1. Means you are losing share. WTF???? Please fire both of these nimrods!
No way, this meteoric slow down has been years in the making, going all the way back to Neutron Omar in 2011. This stock price meltdown is not a short term deal, we will go lower, much lower for years. It could be a deliberate strategy. Depress the stock price at the time of the annual stock grant, and receive your new stock option and RSU grants at a relatively low price.
How these two ascended into their roles is Wharton case study in itself.
“If the company is not leading, driving or inspiring change, the CFO needs to step up and do that.” Karen Parkhill, 2018
Serious question for you conspiracy theorists: Did the CTO hire satisfy a ESG/DEI ranking chart? Nothing makes sense about that hire.

Well if that's not a generalized empty statement I don't know what is. You deserve a management role.
Medtronic makes stuff and should focus on that. AI is just noise that might creep into a few software driven devices. Explain to how AI is going to make a physical TAVR valve better?
jealous little bitchThe new CTO is 63. By the time he’s got basic technical familiarity with the companies portfolio he’ll be hitting mandatory retirement. He does know how to say “AI” though so that’s good.

Our beacons of leadership are spectacular at making noise and creating smoke screens…that’s all this is….move on
Welcome to Big Medical, little dude. This is the industry. Same story at every company in the top 10. And you know it.
