Conference Calls & emails







I just like to know why management has all those conference calls and sends out all those emails? Don't they have anything else better to do then waste our time?

I love listening to them make fools of themselfs.What this company could have used is some real leadership,with a vision,this company has lost all the respect of thier employees,once that happens its game over

Not even five years ago the LCM we had at the time was forcing the staff to deliver BOTH cylinders AND LOX to anyone we could get for an O2 set up. The SR was a friend and this was a way of getting points for her.

Just another thing that brought down this company.

Giving stuff away and then later when they see how it is killing them they blame it on the location staff and go off the deep end. Those bad LCM's who have no business running a location are as much to blame as the higher up's in the demise of this company.

About five years ago they also had a "contest" for the PST's. Any of them that brought the over abundance THEY delivered in the first place back to the location went into the contest for a money prize.

So not only did the PST's get paid to deliver the extra cylinders they were now going to get paid to bring them back AND go into a contest to boot. I know one location the PST's were delivering the extra due to the patient being crabby and didn't want to deal with them every week or two. But if you looked at their DAD's you would see they have on there that they did go to them. LCM's looked away again because this company is desperate for drivers.

When one little area works in this manner, is it any wonder the company as a whole is going down like a sinking ship? The hard workers can't keep up carrying the crazy lazy ones.

What I've learned as a former hardworking employee that it means nothing to management, all they care about is numbers, not real caring about customer service. They lost my respect constantly overworking us and playing mind games to make us think we were deficient in some way and always getting written up - I forget what the new terminology is for that now, but being written up is still the same as employee counseling - that's what they call it now (haha). They never do anything to make you feel like a worthwhile employee no matter how many compliments we got from patients. It's all about demeaning us into thinking we can probably be doing better even though we work our ass off to do the best. A pat on the back goes miles more than employee "counseling" -how stupid do they think we are.

I've found a job that goes out of it's way to make employees feel worthwhile and this company is solvent, unlike Rotech. The way they treat employees speaks volumes and it shows in "the numbers".
 






it's obvious they don't care about customer service because we no longer check concentrators every 6 months because we're understaffed. They want to mail out everything to the customer anymore, pretty soon we'll be concentraters.
