I doubt they will give sales as much warning for a layoff. They still need to give Entyvio offers out. I was concerned
Layoffs would be announced in October and have the persons let go and closed out by end of year.

Anyone else?

Well, when they did this last year, it was done right before the end of a quarter. And not much notice. They will not give notice in October and let you close out the year.

Also, Christophe had stated in his previous call (in March I think) that layoffs for the field would be in September. Here we are...
 












nothing happened. They elaborated on Deerfield closing, and they explained that all though changes are coming to the sales force in the future that they are months off, and the metrics to measure the sales force by if there are reductions haven’t even been established yet.

There was a time frame for a q&a but only one question was asked.

It was basically hey, we know a lot of you are wary with this big announcement, and the upcoming acquisition, but we have no news for you.
 




so a conference call to discuss no news? Great minds up there at HQ! Sounds like a setup to cause paranoia and stress into sales team. If that’s enough to inspire one rep to go out and jump at the first job offered, that’s one less severance they need to pay out!! Create a culture of uncertainty and unstableness to force some quick people out! Great plan!!
