Conference call - Pfizer Rhuem

Anyone else worried about he Pfizer Rhuem contract conference call at end of business tomorrow? Any Idea what is about? I am guessing mass layoff.

EITHER MASS LAYOFF, OR PFIZER IS ADDING THE CELEBREX AND LYRICA SALES FORCE, REMEMBER THE LAST CONFERENCE CALL PFIZER KEPT SAYING SHARE OF VOICE SHARE OF VOICE.

So glad I got passed up for this, and now I have a much better opportunity in a better industry.

Those of you that continue on this path, in pharmaceuticals, are doomed. Worse, those that stay in contract, are in for a terrible situation.

There is no problem with having a job with Publicis, but at least look.

You should all know by now that it is not the place to be, and will not be a place you can stay...

unless you want to take a break from work from time to time, which is what you will surely get from any pharma/medical position, especially in contract.

IT'S GOING TO END WAY BEFORE DECEMBER, PROBABLY JUNE 30TH, THAT WOULD BE THE HALF WAY POINT.
AND THE NUMBERS STINK.

Very surprising. I actually was not hired but thought it would be a great opportunity. Seemed like there was a real need for this drug. Pfizer usually has successful launches with a few exceptions esp in specialty.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST LAUNCH I'VE EVER BEEN INVOLVED IN, NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLUSTERFU@K.

Just a slow uptake. Slower than what Pfizer hoped for. The drug will do fine in time but that will be long after we are gone. Pfizer has made choices for this launch that were probably not the right choices but they have to live by them now.

NO DOUBT WE'LL BE LONG GONE. A FEW THINGS PFIZER DID WRONG.

PRICE XELJANZ WAY TOO HIGH
PFIZER DID NOT CONTRACT WITH HMO'S, NOW MANY HAVE PUT DOUBLE STEP EDITS IN PLACE.
NO MARKETING MATERIALS FROM THE GET GO.
AND THAT STUPID I-PAD, (DID ANYBODY NOTICE UPTAKE SLOWED AFTER OUR MEETING AND THE INTRODUCTION OF THE I-PAD)
NO GOALS (AS OF MAY)

No marketing materials. Interesting to say the least for Pfizer is known for there marketing. In fact I was in the Atlanta airport last year and there must have been some sort of medical conference for Rheums as there was a big poster that said Pfizer welcomed them to Atlanta with the drug name on it.
