Conference call complete embarrassment!!!

Yesterday's call was a joke! Our leaders are a joke! Did you hear them laughing after the call??? They have zero respect for the sales force! They didn't want to answer questions. They know people will lose jobs over this decision to pull people into the Hemostat sales force. People will be forced to interview or risk getting laid off. Ask your CAS team what happened on their call!
 






Here is the deal. They glossed over the fact that reps will loose jobs. Essentially no head count reduction, but the devil is in the details. They will consolidate HSS low volume territories. Not all of those HSS have the required skills for the new division. That equals elimination.The fact being HSS territories are at risk. In a perfect world all of those HSS would transition over to the new Bio division. We know that will never happen. Some will, but some won't be able to move into position due to lack of device/OR experience, or family. These will be big geography territories. You better like to travel your ass off. The other item, the HSS team will not know the territories being considered for elimination until after the new positions are filled.
Essentially a waiting game for HSS, and Merry Christmas. If you have a low volume territory, or an expansion territory that is low volume. Either get the new position for the Bio division or get your resume ready for unemployment. That is essentially how it will be played out in the coming months. Not so ( All is well ) Like leadership would like you to believe.
 






Exactly!! You won't know if you are at risk of getting laid off until after. If you are in an expansion territory you better interview if you can or risk losing your job. These people are assholes. Will these jobs be posted on their website for all comers? There may be better qualified people out there to fill these positions!

So to the elite hospital sales force, the premier hospital group with no new product. You guys are so good, they are giving the new products to other organizations and a new division to sell. What happened to giving the HSS a device or an OR entity to give you more coverage in the hospital, and pharmacy off your back for being in the hospital and to expand Ofirmev. Guess that was a pipe dream!
Well Mallinckrodt jerked you off for a year, and now pulled the carpet out from underneath your feet. You are not even good enough to have any shared responsibility for hemostats in areas they cant cover. You are qualified to order Panera- by the way I hate that place and vow never to order from them. Also, you qualified to do webinars and programs to the same old peeps that have been coming the last 6 years. And don't forget the most important responsibility.
Present your PK/PD data to PBDM- that should grow your business. ) Where is that published?)
and provide the VALUE to you hospital. Ron said it nicely on the call.

Crap I forgot. Don't even think for a second the HSS will get that burn product. When that comes out they will give it to peeps that have OR experience. SOL again!!!!!
 


















Didn't anyone catch the line from Ron about what the Board Members thought was the most compelling? They liked the patient video, and they didn't know what we really do? WTF- Really!
I would like to sit on that Board, sounds like they don't do anything.
People will be loosing jobs. Don't kid yourself for one minute. Low volume/Expansion are going away. 25 territories are being affected. A couple will head over to the new division, but most don't have the experience required. Its not rocket science, but the one thing they didn't say was a timeline on the elimination, even though they say there is no elimination. I mean they must think we are retarded. I would assume it has to happen before we role into the new fiscal year. And for the rest of the HSS at the POAs coming up- guess you will be practicing how to present PK/PD data. Long live the new Account Business Managers! That means manage lunches to arrive where they are supposed to. Manage feeding a ton of people at dinner programs that don't do shit for your business. And the most important aspect -Manage, acting like your busy for the whole week.
 


















I was so glad my manager told me there was nothing to worry about until my termination letter arrived Tuesday morning. Luckily we have such an excellent opportunity that i get to re interview for my job.
How about we fire the idiots that developed the CAS division for their lack of vision leadership and lack of accomplishments. I dont want to hear but the directors are really really nice while i get to eat sh t! Il be rehired but I will be leaving MNK once I get another year under my belt.

My manger told me nothing to worry about. In our district there is almost no chance anyone will lose their job, territories wont change and if you want you can apply and try for a ground breaking chance to sell something new. SO weird as no one needs to worry.
Why would anyone not trust MNK. After all the last 2 years have been ripe with honesty, integrity, transparency, vision, nailing sales goals (by the third attempt),etc
Anyone buying a new car?
I appreciate MNK once again bringing on a new new sales leadership that will figure out how to get the ball rolling.

They think they are playing the big corporate thinkers and will build an empire.
Sadly, they left out the patients, customers and employees in their formula for success. Oh that's right we have videos now to show the world.
