Conf Call on Last Day of Quarter?

I'm really trying to believe in our neuro leader but C'Mon man! An all employee conference call lasting 1.5 hours on the last afternoon of the quarter? I know in Pharma the last day of the quarter is just another day but you are in device now big fella! We have to chase POs and beg for orders sometimes to make bucket bonuses. Not only did you take my time but I'm sure you backed up customer service and sales support roles as well.

Since you never communicate, I'd love to hear what you have to say. Just don't do it at the expense of my bonus. You mess with people's money and you lose respect real quick.

Also a big shout out to sales management. Thanks for allowing this to happen! You guys keep saying you will do the right thing for the sales team. Hows about grabbing your sack and sticking up to your boss for us? Really could use some more backbone from you guys.

um backbone????? you do realize that you work at integra. sales management has no power or authority to do anything, do you honestly think they wanted their team on a pointless call the last day of the quarter, they get bonuses too. what happened to the managers with a backbone???? that's right unemployment. upper management will do and say anything to keep the masses in line and keep making people think there are opportunities to stay with the company. those that tell the truth are pushed out of the company by force. they are just trying to keep their jobs like everyone else.
