concern and question

didn't get the job because I asked the RD about the comp plan, "how many made plan last year, what are the goals, are they realistic". was told that "it's a challenge but we're working through it".....i interpret that to be "you better be happy with a high base and not complain". someone's going to have to call them out on it

Think of it as divine intervention that you didn’t get the job.

Did RD tell you that your question cost you the job? If they answered that they’re an idiot.

From day one Stack has prided himself in paying sales less than market value. I know, why wouldn’t you build a comp program that incentivized growth (low base/high IC)?

Lastly, the rank & file RDs are worthless. Mostly promoted to avoid whistleblowers, HR/compliance issues, and sexual harassment complaints. Never leadership, innovation, or culture building.

This 100%. Comp plan is a joke. I think maybe one person out of 120ish total made their annual quota last year…? Which is mind blowing to say. Now they dump 2 more products in our laps and the incentive to do anything at all has only dropped. Morale is all time bad. Culture is the worst I’ve ever seen. Dead serious.

DS and DG see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Because they’re heartless clueless egomaniacs with no idea how to run a sales org. RD’s have zero power.

Salary and benefits are just good enough to justify staying and doing the bare minimum. But just barely. Check boxes while looking for something better. Being paid to job hunt isn’t the worst thing.

New VP is already desperate on LI posting about our job openings of which we have many.

This job is great if you absolutely need a job and have no other options. Which isn’t exactly the type of salesforce most reputable companies are trying to establish. Great times!

DG is to blame, the poor new guy under him will be the puppet until he will be pushed out. the people who stay are happy with the base and/or have great side hustles. they enjoy putting in fake calls and love a toxic culture

Once ordered to change a review from Exceeds to Meets because they needed a specifics number of each rating to fit Bell Curve model. The AM deserved the Exceeds.
An RD would not discuss IC Plan until deep into the process. Recruiters would provide candidate compensation package. Todays RDs are not experienced and poorly trained. Many promoted to avoid compliance issues. Layer upon layer of redundancy from top down. That's why they call us Pa-silo. CYA, agree with leadership, never speak up and you'll thrive in this dumpster fire of a company.

Won COE and received a MEETS. Not a FAR EXCEEDS or even an EXCEEDS. So I didn't get a higher percentage raise on my base. Called, emailed, and texted my RD. Never got an answer, so I called HR and was told it was already inputed in my review and couldn't be changed. Complete bullshit.

This happened to me too. Direct employees have zero rights in this company and HR is too afraid to stand up for what is right so they take the easy way out. Ask them to show you where reviews can’t be changed in the handbook. Haha
