Competition

Is anyone worried about the competition? Dymista keeps growing but my Qnasl doesn't. And what about their new inhaled steroid? I feel as if they are coming after us. They have a smaller sales force, but they are aggressive!

The makers of Dymista have these neat things called "samples" that they put large amounts of in every office. I don't think Teva is familiar with the concept. Apparently doctors like to give out these "samples" for patients to try before paying for it. It sounds logical to me, but my boss keeps telling me that all I need for Qnasl sales is to hand out coupons and patients will run to the pharmacies to fill it. Can Teva and my boss be wrong?

Boy,
Here' a thought....why not worry about trying to identify ways to overcome the lack of samples and still be successful as opposed to crying about something that isn't in your control or going to change?
I know, I know, it's always easier to make excuses why you aren't successful as opposed to trying to figure out ways to overcome obstacles.
It's Teva' fault I'm not successful. BooHoo!!!! It's my managers fault i'm not successful Wahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Wow. Are you in management or what? God forbid someone have a suggestion to make us more competitive. BTW, you should really consider a lobotomy to correct your juvenile tendencies and asinine accusations.

Wow, I guess you you are not familiar with the concept of "Irony". Too bad... Personally I have consistently exceeded my Qnasl goal by roughly 5-10%, so yes I am successful with the product and am doing the best I can with what I have. That fact does not in any way cause me to give Teva a pass card on how the product is being handled. I have launched a number of products in multiple disease states, and I can say that this has by far been the worst launch I have ever seen. Aside from the fact that we are asking doctors to start patients on a product with little or no samples, we have had to tell them MULTIPLE times that we are out of sample due to... "Fill in the black here", and that we have no idea if/when we will have samples in the future. Currently, we are in that same situation AGAIN as Qnasl samples were just removed from our sample order site due to another so-called problem. I have had a number of physicians say "How can a company that did so well with Pro-Air and Qvar, completely screw this up?". If you are going to come on here and say that we should all just smile and act like nothing is wrong, you are drinking too much kool-aid. The only thing I have seen them correct is the new discount cards which are live and do not need to be activated, I do give them credit for that improvement. A friend that works at Meda said that both of our HO people that left Teva to work for them did so in part because they were thwarted at every level by upper management to launch and grow Qnasl properly. My personal hope was that Teva would catch on to the damage that they were doing to their own product and change course, but here we are in the same situation now as when we launched it.

Hey D U M M Y
Point out where I said "act like there is nothing wrong". You can't DUMMY because I never said it. You have now moved on from blaming Teva and your manager for your ineptness to now blaming me. What I did say was DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OTHER THAN CRYING AND WHINNING. Try to figure out how to overcome the lack of samples. Oh wait, that would require you to do some thinking and put a little effort into it. Instead let's just cry about it and blame everyone else which doesn't require any thought or work. it also doesn't result in any results.
B A B Y ! WAHHHHHHH! I WANT MY MANAGER TO CHANGE MY DIAPER!

Spot on about the way the product is being handled... not sure why anyone selling Qnasl would take issue with your post (We all pretty much feel the same way). I love working for Teva but agree with you that they have F'd up the samples and have angered many doctors with there lack of support for the product. Where I would differ with you in your post is that I don't think upper management purposely shut the Qnasl team down on their ideas. I think it had more to do with HO Israel bean counters giving them a very limited budget so that there was not enough money for the proper amount of samples and ability to be more aggressive with MC coverage. My guess is that the negative responses to your post were either DM's or someone that needs a life outside of Teva. You know the type...saying anything bad about Teva is like calling their baby ugly, thus the vitriol begins.

A BIT OF AN EXAGERATION DON'T YOU THINK? If you can't make your point without exaggerating the truth, then you have NO point.

You're either part of the problem or part of the solution.
Since I see no solution in your remarks.................

You must a hoot at parties. It was clear the poster was using sarcasm from the start to the finish of the post. Are you the new "rebut any post that might be negative" person from HO? I noticed you have been busy on other threads as well.

Sarcasm-"the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say"
SO you are saying the poster didn't mean anything they said from start to finish? So Teva Does provide enough Qnasl samples then. My point exactly!
M O R O N!
Hey granny, do you use the word "hoot" quite often? You must be a hoot at parties using words like that.

I think you just confirmed the very point of the poster you criticized. By the way, you chose one of many uses of Sarcasm to suit your purpose of attacking the poster. His/Her use of the word "Sarcasm" still applies. Sadly, the list below reads like a description of one of your frequent posts on this site.

Synonyms of Sarcasm:
affront, barb, brickbat, cut, dart, dig, dis (also diss) [slang], epithet, gird, indignity, name, offense (or offence), outrage, personality, poke, put-down, insult, slap, slight, slur, catcall, gibe (or jibe), jeer, mock, quip, sneer, taunt; abuse, invective, vituperation; disapproval, opprobrium; disgrace, dishonor, shame; attack, criticism, knock, slam, swipe; torment
