A recruiter contacted me for a position selling High Level Allergy Testing Kits and Services. The recruiter is saying a base of 70-75, with commissions and bonuses putting the the total package around 115-175k, and top reps making 200k. Also said the usual things that comes with these jobs, company car, cell phone allowance etc... I really just want to know if this is accurate with the compensation plan. Thanks for all the info that can be given.

Thanks for the quick response, is the culture of the company good? I currently work outside of healthcare, I got out late last year, does this company follow advamed or Pharma guidelines. I enjoy the entertainment side of my job as well, it lets me get to know my clients outside of work and build a stronger relationship. also how is the company at promoting from within. I am younger and have goals of getting into management.

Ask how many reps make 200 k beyond 1-2 years max. Company follows guidelines--some managers and reps do not (top reps make 200 k do you think they follow advamed). outside of NY-- forget about it. if it sounds too good.................................................................
 












I am not to worried about making 200k, I know that kind of money isn't allowed to continue at most companies. What I am concerned about is the ability to consistently pull down over 130-140 range. That's what I would need to make this type of move worth wild.

a select few are making 150 - 200k and they are selling their souls to do it. paying off docs, shady deals, you name it. when the money dries up so do the gifts. if you're in a big city and pick and choose who you sell to at the right times you can make that $$$ and the ACE payment year after year gets you to that $$$. the business doesn't last tho so if you lose biz while you're trying to gain the math doesn't work. don't take this job unless you're unemployed, or in your case, can't spell.

Sorry to the OP for the jackass responses you just received. This company is just like every company, there nice people and assholes. This sales role is isn't for everyone. Just trust your gut when you interview. If it feels right then go with it and if not stay where you are.

Yep, during my organismic physical they said that I had, and still have, a wild hare grow'in up between my cheeks. HR said that we can't hire you until you remove it. Any help from anyone else who has experienced this issue? Only serious responses please.

Wild Hares are difficult to get rid of. Why? Because they tend to grow back and branch out like a fig tree. Castration is usually the only recourse. It doesn't hurt.
