I am just stunned that there was no email about this from JB or JT or even my RBM. The last we heard (six weeks ago) coming from JT himself is that a generic would be years off! I can’t believe he got this wrong and how on earth can the FDA approve a drug SO fast after we lost on March 30th! This NEVER happens at the FDA! I think Amarin should investigate the judge, her interest in Hikma Pharmaceuticals, and someone in the FDA getting their take too! Something doesn’t smell right!! You better look at a paper trail!

Perhaps that person doesn't know. Its moot, because reps won't be needed in any situation....whether it be due to appeal, generic approval, or the 800 reps. No situation calls for 800 reps. Company won't be toast , but reps are.

There will still be a need for reps to promote vascepa. Maybe not 800.

These generic companies filed with the FDA years ago. Amarin won an injunction that held it off. The generic companies filed appeals and won. The fda had the old ANDAs filed already so it was easy to expedite. The generic companies are doing an "at risk" launch which means they get to start making it but if Amarin wins the appeal the generic companies have to pay amarin a lot of money. If Amarin loses, its all over.

This is a total disaster. Any chance our price recovers should the Covid 19 study be positive?
 












For those of you that don't know history of Balzer... ask anyone from Sanofi. They'll tell you. I'm not saying he enjoyed being the "hatchet man" over there, screwing everything he touched up along with Washburn but he certainly doesn't have a problem putting reps last. I can tell you that. He's numb to it now. He'll prob retire altogether after Amarin so he doesn't really care. He's also getting a paid a very nice pension from Sanofi. He doesn't care about people that work for him.

At his level, he doesn’t have an impact on the disaster here. The courts decide our future.

Get out as fast as you can. As soon as Covid allows def. interview and try to get a better job. They will string you along until they don't need you then provide minimal severance.
 
























I can't believe we survived the covid months. Now we ride until the final curtain. Should be good till the end of the summer but I'm going to start networking in the morning anyway. It was fun people.
