Company going straight into the sh!tter

The quickest way to run a company into the ground is to put dollars first and stop caring about your patients and your people. Alkermes is currently doing an outstanding job of turning into a company no one wants to work for and customers do not trust. Stark change from even recent history, so thank you Todd and all the other a$$hats in Waltham for ruining a once wonderful company with life-changing medicines. Pathetic…

Person on the turnover thread thinks Todd is doing a great job and we should stop complaining.
Todd has destroyed this place. Zero leadership skills and is way over his head. He gutted the B&C plan, which has completely demoted the sales force. Then his emphasis on metrics is ridiculous. AL and Vivitrol are not metric driven drugs. None of the sales leaders have the balls to step up and tell him. All Todd has done is make people not care and give him fake metrics. If your going to pay me 50% of my bonus at 90% to goal, you will get 50% effort.

Truer words have never been spoken.

The only thing keeping this company afloat is the sales force. Ari and Viv would fade into oblivion without the dedicated professionals in the field. Todd is a rapidly-spreading malignant cancer, Sales Ops couldn’t be a bigger failure than it is right now, and no one seems to be stepping up to try and keep this company viable. Sales leadership can’t seem to jump ship fast enough. Could all be salvaged by getting rid of Todd and bringing in a true leader with vision, compassion and integrity.

So disappointing to see the demise of what was once a great little company. Starts at the top and all upper leadership are responsible. So who is going to be next to go? Keck? I won’t fell bad about it. Bauer needs to follow. Both too busy watching out for themselves to notice what’s happing to their representatives. Losing good people due to terrible managers and management is complicit.

I agree that the focus on big pharma type metrics is starting to take precedence over actual results. I have market share 6 points above national average but all I hear is to get my calls per day average up.

I have been here since launch! It is the worst it has ever been here and is quite heartbreaking. Sales Operations needs major help. How are we ever going to have a successful launch when we can’t even get Aristada right?
