I’m pretty level headed about most things but I have to say this is 100% truth. I’ve worked for four companies and never have I had counterparts that I couldn’t trust like Pfizer. Keep your head down and smile...never let them know what you’re thinking.

So not true!! I’ve moved up at this company because I speak up when it’s appropriate.

Complainers can’t move up in any organization but speaking the truth when it needs to be heard is always Ok.

I’ve been here for a little while, now. Haven’t met a single rep in any division that is happy working in this dung pile.

The truth is what kept me here 30 years. I've watched the bellyachers come and go. I never complained and had my managers
In the palm of my hand. I fed them info on the lazy ones and got many terminated.

I spent 20 years at Pfizer and was so happy to be laid off in 2009 because of guys like you. The 1st 15 were great but the final 5 were painful dealing w/ children like yourself and DM that were promoted way to soon. If being catty and getting people in trouble is the definition of a mature functioning adult there are better places to work and guess what? There is!! Pfizer gave me a great big check in 2009 and paid healthcare for a year. I've never looked back and only kept in touch w/ a few people from my years.
 




















This Industry will be good again when HQ realizes it's not a sales job and wipes the slate clean of all middle management and calls the position customer service. The goal of the new Customer Service person will be to only service and form good customer relations w/ the offices that will even let you in. Which as you know more and more offices are shutting down because of abrasive pharma reps.

Unfortunately this will either never happen because of hubris HQ and middle management or it will take 20 years. Either way the industry as a whole has to shift one company at a time.

Of course the pay will need to be substantially lower because this job will now be considered entry level to the work force.
