Word on the street is that Takeda reps are losing their company cars and going to car allowance. The thread also said you have done (or are doing) the same thing. Is this true?
 












Isn't this low? I know of some companies that pay $950 per month for car allowance for their sales reps and $750 for other field based employees.

Hope this change is in your benefit.
 






Not only is the $500 low but a reflection on how the company shows its lack of appreciation of its salesforce and how cheap the company is. The allowance will barely, or not be enough, cover car operation, insurance, maintenance, the company Runzheimer has a reputation of being low ballers or under hiring company's direction like Sucampo has done, go below real cost, cheap wads strike again

Well, if that is the case.... Good luck getting reps to drive 2 hours to the middle of BFE to call on some low value doctor.... I will not put those miles on my car... no way... Takeda will lose all rural marketshare...

Ok, we are not Takeda, Sucampo invented and owns Amitiza, Takeda Co promotes Amitiza with us, Sucampo reps cover Hospital, Institutions, and LTC and do not sample. Takeda reps covers primary care and GI offices and sample Amitiza.
