Received LinkedIn email from a recruiter about oncology MSL job in my area. Been laid off for five months so I sent CV, and recruiter called me and at least it was something. Sent over 130 other CVs and applications and crickets.
Heard back from recruiter that company wanted to talk. Hooray! Maybe something at last! Went through two rounds only to be told be “hiring” manager that opening didn’t really exist, and they were just “testing waters”. FOAD. Don’t post a job if there’s no real opening! Callous, inhuman and way to make people despise your company!
