Commission methods

So I hear different companies pay commission on different specifics. For example my company bases commission on scripts actually picked up from the pharmacy however I hear other companies use business ability, signatures etc as a commission base.

I am wondering if this is the case and if so which companies follow this method?

Not likely you are wondering this for anything other than a fee. Conducting Market research on comp plans obviously. Who is paying you? salary? commision? What are you receiving for monthly bonus on answering market key information questions?
