I have been trying for weeks to find out whether there will be a Fall new car ordering cycle and keep getting the runaround. What is the deal? My car has very high mileage and I no longer feel safe in it. I would opt back in for the allowance program but that has been discontinued. And don’t think I’m not appreciative of getting a car, but the industry standard is to drive a vehicle that has less than 85,000 miles on it. Mine has over that now and there doesn’t seem to be anyone accountable for giving us an explanation.

Boo hop industry standard. Most car warranties are 100,000 miles. Enjoy your ride and stop complaining abt a “I need a new car”. It’s FREE.....love, Bill

The transformation clock is ticking. There will be plenty of used vehicles available to reallocate into the remaining territories that meet the vehicle reassignment criteria. Budgets and hiring are all on hold until the cuts are complete. Be thankful you have a car at all. Many will be displaced soon and fleet will have a large pool available.

Get over it!

Call fleet and have the car updated. Many people who do not have highly overpaid pharma jobs bringing coffee to staff drive cars with well over 100k miles.

All those that will lose their jobs are the legacy Genentech reps getting the $700 car allowance

I have to agree with this statement. The tenured entitled ones need to have a reality check. They are the first to bitch when change occurs. Management is well aware of who “the entitled” are. There are no protections in layoffs.
