Co-pay card changes

Not good, I bet this move sinks a lot of territories and then you will see the chinese fire drill if not at the end of this year then the beginning of next year when a ll the cash pay options are filtered out of numbers. There is no way Kowa will come even close to hitting the numbers that they want to without the cash option at $25. Check into cash pay for 30 days of 2 mg, it is around $160 average which means patients will pay $85, they can get generics for a lot less, this will not happen. There is one way for Kowa to hit the numbers and that is get more managed care wins- but this simply is not happening either. Good Luck!

Agreed. you can lower the price to $10 and doctors will still not write it because they have to go through so many step edits and PAs to get it through managed care. Our old cash price helped out with these issues. Now no longer.

Doctors will not go through all these step edits for this drug. It will now only be written exclusively for the statin intolerant patient. That's it. Let's hope the doctor wants them on it bad enough to fill out the paperwork and patients are will to try it after failing the rest.

Good going. Numbers will tank.
