Close to territory, but not in it.....

I have had 2,2 rating for the last three years. I live exactly 2 miles from my territory but not in it. I want to be laid off, get the severance and find a new career.

Does anyone familiar with mapping know if the measly two miles I live from my territory is enough to justify "not" living in my territory? It seems to me there would be a proximity rule, but then again who knows if that makes it too difficult to create in the computer algorithm that decides our fates.

Anyone have any indication of how this works from the last two layoffs?

I have had enough of the layoffs...time to find a CAREER and not a JOB that comes with an unspoken annual contract.

You want to stay so bad it is sad. It is ok to want to stay in a mindless job collecting a nice salary with good benefits and a company car. There are no other careers in this economy, just jobs.
