It was the best of times. People were valued there was a feeling of empowerment. You had the opportunity to really run your own business and were rewarded well if you did well. I remember the pillars that we built our principles on:

Modeling the Way
Celebrating Accomplishments

A time we will never see again in a world of central planning, internal processes that supersede our interactionswith customers and a constant threat to our well being with ethics and compliance runing the show. Now its a terrible place where a mediocre book is looked as a valauable gift to its employees. Like that is supposed to boost morale and create harmony. How far we have slid.

Well said and so true. After the merger the slime oozed in and has been growing ever since. How many people are actually working on drug development vs. process improvement, initiatives and all the other made-up jobs that are in place to employ the
inexperienced and incompetent? How will the human race treat and cure diseases when there is nobody actually developing drugs?
