Great job you made some of the best people in the industry leave. Many more are quitting because of your big pharma culture. Chuck are you taking out the coffee maker out of the cafeteria.
Chuck isn't as much of a problem as people think. Could we be better? Sure. But he's not so bad once you get to know him. There are many factors as to why Biogen is the way it is. While yes Chuck is a part of that, he also isn't all bad. He is no BS, doesn't say one thing to your face then do something else. What you see is what you get. If he had people giving him straight no BS feedback he would implement your suggestions. The problem is everyone fears the man and therefore no one is honest. If you think you're going to vent on this website and mysteriously things will change, well, then your an idiot.
So go ahead, go nuts and say I'm drinking the kool aid. I'm not. I'm just realistic and have a better understanding of the internal dynamics of the company more than you do. Biogen is still the company to be at and if it stinks so bad for you, then leave. Just be thankful for what Biogen provides for you and your family. Stop whining and complaining. All of you are so ungrateful. If you were making $230,000 and drove a company issued Land Rover, you would still whine that it isn't the color you wanted.
God forbid - we have to share accounts now and actually work with counterparts in geographies. Oh no, we actually have to be a bit accountable now for doing our jobs. Oh boo hoo, my company car doesn't come with latte dispenser and powder for my diaper rash. This is phenomenal company. If you hate it, leave. Chances are people will not miss you and your grateful-for-nothing attitude. I have new team members now set to come back from training. I feel grateful to work here and work with others who are excited about being here. Haters should grow up, shut up, or friggin leave before your rotten attitude gets you canned anyway.
