The espionage, IP theft, propaganda, biowarfare, predatory trade practices, and more all signal one thing: China is not an ally or a good trade partner.

A Chinese vessel tried to cut Taiwan's undersea cable (a different ship than the Russian spy boat in UK waters rn). And China is clearly in cahoots with Russia (Chinese support is the only reason Russian can sustain its invasion of Ukraine). Chinese fentanyl precursor exportation aside, there is definitely sun ting wong...

And to answer your question, American homes would not only look nicer and less cluttered without Chinese manufactured components, they would be far healthier (less exposure to plastics, PFAS, and adulterated foods). And our landfills and ecosystems would also welcome the relief. While Americans are suckers for cheap goods, we just do not truly need the crap, and can learn to live without it.

It is time to say bye bye bei gene, and we don't need luck, Commissar Pooh Bear.

Don't forget that Nixon and the USA only opened up trade with China in the late 1970's specifically in furtherance of the national security and defense political doctrine of "Democratization" (influencing China to become less autocratic and communist and more democratic and normal, through McDonald's and Levi's jeans, and iphones). Now that we've had a few decades to observe the experiment in action, we (the USA) are realizing (finally), that it did not work. Time to put the ship in reverse and chart a new course (less M-I-C).

She's gutless and he's clueless - well, half clueless. She didn't do her job, and Trump is only half right about CA's fire issues. Yes, some underbrush needs to be removed but raking a forest? And political party behavior? How about this? GOP Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) was not in attendance at the Florida retreat for House Republicans. He took a shot at those who were.

“I am in Texas, with my family & meeting with constituents, rather than spending $2K to hear more excuses for increasing deficits & not being in DC to deliver Trump’s border security $ ASAP.” Trump must still think he's running a reality show spending thru the nose with these publicity flights to countries south of the border. All they do is strengthen China's ties with them and speaking of China? What happened to the tariffs. Like John Bolton said., it's all talk. Bolton was in China, ready to impose them years ago and Trump flew in with Mnuchin (Soros' ex-partner) and canceled them. And now he's pissed because Bolton told us the truth about it which didn't set with Old McDonald. And House Republicans meet annually for a policy retreat, which, this year, is being hosted at the Trump National Doral in Florida. So this is nothing but a cash grab for DT. And Republican fools continue to buy into it.
