Was approached with inside knowledge that a rep is going to be pushed out soon. What does anyone think of the market potential there for the new product and is the manager worth working with? Any thoughts.

You idiot. You have BAD information. The rep wasn't pushed out, he left because of a better opportunity. Everyone, including his manager, loved him. Get your facts straight and go away!!!
 






OP here, sorry but was not speaking to a male rep that recently left but was leaning towards a rep that is still currently employed. Info has it that they have a history of attitude issues and HR is currently working on a plan to get rid of this person. Was contacted by an insider to enquire about my interest in coming aboard. Was just looking to see what the thoughts of the Chicago market is for the new product launch. Don't want to make a jump from a decent scenario to a bad one. Current boss is kind of a "bag" but also what about Chicago mgr? Any thoughts?

Spoke with my friend in HR, plan to move this rep out is now in place. Amazing what a little investigating can accomplish when a company wants someone out. So many pit falls that a rep can become victim too. Really eye opening stuff. Just proves that maybe you shouldn't always have an attitude and learn to respect management and co workers. Documentation is in place and expect action soon!
