Chicago Cardiology/Critical Care Div

I was contacted by a recruiter about an open device position in Chicago in the cardiology/critical care division. Can anyone offer some insight into this division or area? Is the base really 50K like some people have said? If so that's a giant pay cut from my current job, but then again, I'm miserable in my current job so it may be worth it.

Rep that was there was really good and moved to NYC. With base salary and commissions territory I believe is doing around $ 120k plus car, expenses, etc. Good news is there's still a lot of opportunity to grow sales. If this division could get on some of the bigger GPO contracts this territory would really blow it out!
