Those people who qualified for the legacy Zeneca pension and were paid with 2 year separation packages to do what they wanted to do anyway were the luckiest s.o.b s
I missed it by a few years but I am hoping that now it will be my turn. 56 years old and waiting.
 




The difference in a Zeneca pension and AZ pension is only a few hundred thousand, give or take!! Yes,that was a true golden parachute. Now it's more like a dollar tree helium filled birthday balloon.

I know some legacy Zeneca people who retired with hundreds of thousands in stock options, several million in 401K and took millions more in a lump sum pension settlement and then received an additional lump sum of two years salary as a buy out package. These people have to be living like rock stars. Those days are long gone.

Haha... That's a fucking lie! And the biggest joke! I'm a legacy Zeneca retiree.... Over 25 years before taking a package, plus retirement....Zeneca Pension is $600.00 a month! Wow... I'm living it large!!! 401k is my best asset... And taking the Medical insurance benefit is good. No rich fuck here
 












Why a bloodbath this fall? With gen Crestor, Ser XR, etc,wouldn't it happen sooner than the fall? Curious here, since AZ hasn't had layoffs in like 4 years, why now? All the evidence suggests AZ will make reductions a thing of the past. I would bet that if AZ offered another nice separation package, the only bloodbath would be from the absolute masses that would self identify. I dare say that hundreds, if not more, would raise their hand.

Only a fool would leave AZ! Where in the hell else can you work as few hours as we do for money like this, all with management's blessing, because they are worse than we are! AZ is THE biggest pharma gravy train in the industry! Leave AZ you say? No way in hell!
