Changes in December?

What is the deal? I've heard rumblings of major reorg of hospital division but don't know if it's true. Im working on a second interview, but if I don't get the job I'm not sure what I will do. Can anyone shed some light?
 












This is a longtime coming. Many of us feel there will be huge changes announced right before Christmas, including a few people stepping down in the reorg. Unfortunately, this has not been a science based company and when a company simply acquires drugs $ and then sells them, there is no foundation. Make no mistake. When you look for a new opportunity, make sure they are very science-based with a lot of R&D and have a healthy pipeline of products. Companies that simply acquire drugs never really amount to much in the long run. OFIRMEV will one day be used as a learning textbook example of what not to do in colleges. With the significant price change and lack of any supportive medical studies comparing to other acetaminophen routes of entry, it's made all the reps appear foolish and tarnished many reputations. When you speak to people that have moved on to other companies, it's clear they have an enormous sense of relief they are no longer associated to the product or company and feel like they are getting a level of respect back.
 






I am not sure why you wouldn't know what else to do. You need to put more thought into why you would want this awful job in the first place. By far, hands down, the worst company I have ever worked for.

I agree. It just a matter of finding something else. Leadership is very weak here and they make poor decision. Hell, you can become a manager with no experience. No problem here.

Usually when there is rumblings or statements about reorganization, there seems to be some sort of truth of what's coming. This stuff gets leaked out of leadership meetings.
When the last reorganization happened CP had it up on the board about 3 months before company made announcement. They expanded over a year ago for anticipation of products for hospital. They bought products but have yet to do anything with them. Except give preveleak to a CSF to sell instead of us. We just dumped any responsibility for recothrom, and they have pushed back any launch of Raplixa.
What does that tell you. It seems that we probably won't be selling Raplixa. And a targeted sales force will be developed and given that to sell, seems like a reasonable guess.
That means now we have all these expansion territories with nothing new to justify the expansion. And with Ron Loyd, and Jodi's track record of cutting reps and reorgs seems like another logical assumption that this will be coming.who knows how the reorgs would look. Although if there are multiple reps in the same city seems like one of the most vulnerable positions. Also low volume territories would make sense as something that would be consolidated. Maybe with the CC on the 13th might give some light for possible changes being considered or direction for 2017
 






What is the cc on the 13th? Buying the Hemostat franchise was a huge mistake! That alone should be reason to get rid of whoever made that decision! Agree low volume territories will be absorbed and some people will be gone. As far as Raplixa goes .... It will be a disaster. Merry XMas!
 






OK, wonder what the call from Jodi on October 4th will be regarding the Acute Care division. Will this have some hints as to the changes coming our way?
Certainly this just isn't a RaRa all hands on deck call. There has to be something more.
 






So much drama with her message! Unless your on PTO blah blah blah!!! No everyone will be wondering what bullshit will come out of her mouth. Maybe she needs more time to talk about how great she is! Where is Jimmy D in all of this?? Maybe he is going going gone!
 






so i just got some great intel on changes in december. They will be announced Friday Dec 16th, those affected will get a CC request on Thursday Dec 15th, sometime in the late morning-early afternoon to stay home on friday and take the 11am EST conf call. All that I know is that there is a MAJOR reorg for the hospital team, its looking as if they will be expanding some territories and getting rid of all of the non-producing, low volume territories. Anyway, good luck and start updating those resumes if you haven't already
