Changes at the top

Bazie moves to Device, and in comes Yang. Not sure these are good moves for them or us. Device is a dead end, especially on the strategy side. Yang has no immunology experience, and hasn't been in any spot for long so not sure how much depth he brings. So now we have Yang with no immunology and Haney with no marketing experience at the top. That means Taubert is actually calling the shots now, and that cannot be good.

It doesn't matter. JTaubert wants know-littles and yes-men in these spots. Easier to boss around. And Yang is a lightweight. He doesn't have to do a lot. Just don't screw it up.

My abm would like to send a very nice special gift to Mr. Yang to welcome him to our wonderful company. He has us all pitching in for it and one of the ideas one of my team mates came up with is also to see if Mr. Yang has family members we can also buy gifts for. Does anyone know what he and his family likes? I am thinking that a nice trip somewhere might be nice.

Consider yourself lucky to have your abm. He or she is out ahead of the curve. That is at least one things we are fortunate for in this company, to have the most top-notch abms in the industry. I'm sure the Yangs will appreciate your gifts and remember your team's nice gesture for years to come.

These cats are just a bunch of puppets and the big J is pulling the strings. JBI is on a curve into the toilet by design as the only big revenue is about to leave the building (Remicade). Mr Y has a task to buy and merge in another key biologic company before departure.

Note to Prez Y.
SALES leadership has shown to be untrustworthy, short sighted and overall incompetent. Please stat by making changes there. While most biotech leaders are recognizing their only true asset (the people) this organization has been dumping onto their heads. MH wanted to have the industry follow (to cheapen the livestock) but the experienced competitors recognized her weakness and went the other way. Please fix this or let the ship jumping begin...oh btw we all take our book of business with us.
Thanks and good luck. The industry is watching you.

But just remember that our abms are the best in the business. These are the kind of people who would be running companies like Apple, Facebook and Google. They are smart as can be, filled with integrity and sacrifice their own careers in order to help others succeed. Everyone in the whole company will agree with this.
Oh, and the RBDs are even better if you can believe it!

The credo showed that MH has done the job. You old DMs are gone. It is time for fresh ideas. One maybe two more moves and we will finally be in a place to win. The day of you old "this is the way we always did it" tired managers is over. Apple is 95% under 35 yrs old for middle and first line managers. JBI is the reverse. MH is changing this. Making this more like the Apple program is the secret to success. If it worked got JC Penny's it will work for us.

It worked for your mom. She switched from the old Viagra-fueled guys to the young Viagra-fueled guys. A groupie at the rap festival. Kayne and his crew loved her.

Our leadership is so clueless. Were you blindsided by express scripts decision to take Stelara and Simponi off the National formulary? We are told by our managers, no adjustments in forecast for 2014,numbers will not be adjusted, if you don't like, you should leave.

I don't feel sorry for the old-timers. They'll be cruising into the sunset with fat 401ks and pensions too. I feel sorry for the younger reps that are putting all their eggs into this cracking basket. Ooh, ooh, I want to be an abm, and then someday I'll have Marti's position. Idiot! When did you ever see anyone rise up the ranks any further to the dead end job of RBD, where the dopes who had a few lucky years of good numbers go to prove the Peter Principle. Read on another thread about the clueless RBD and his "Alphabetical selling model." Ninety percent of the reps in his region thinks he's a dummy. The rest are just trying to get promoted. I would give anything to be over the 55 mark right now. They can't fire you without a valid reason or for doing or not doing anything the 4o something crew is doing, which is basically not working. Come on, who in this company works more than 2 or 3 days a week? Not in my region. Almost all of us have side businesses and a couple of the guys even have the RBD heavily invested in theirs, so he can never fire them for fear of losing his investment. The guy is played, Dude!
