I am interviewing for a position in Los Angeles, selling Nuvigil and Azilect. I am new to Cephalon and read some of the posts as well as internet information on Teva and generic Provigil coming soon. Any honest comments around this would be greatly appreciated. I would assume the previous rep left and took severance but not sure. Manager info would be appreciated as well. Whatever you know, send it on. Thanks.

I'm interviewing for this too. Any info would be appreciated.

Im concerned that Provigil goes generic in April. Not sure about the viability of the company. Cephalon was always a great place to work through counterparts who worked there but Im not sure whats going on now that Teva took over. Just want some info on this situation.

Hey..if they are interviewing for the position then the person left but it wouldn't have been with a severance. The only ones that got the severance were eliminated territories and they wouldn't be interviewing to replace them.
Sounds like you already know about generic Provigil and that we selling Azilect also now. What else is there to know? We don't have a clue what we will be doing in 4-5 months but they did keep on a large number of sales people and it must have been for some reason. Also, considering that Cephalon did really have a replacement for the Provigil revenue we are going to lose, it is much better to be with Teva than without. If we wouldn't have been bought by Teva I am not sure what Cephalon would have done with us in April. I think there is far more opportunity and security with Teva than there would have been with Cephalon alone.

If you are interviewing for the position, don't you already know who the manager is? Post some initials and maybe we can help.

That guy sucks and selling Azilect with no competition - Zelapar stopped promoting against it over 3yrs ago.... down hill postion - go for it if you don't have a job you need to pay the bills - I would say that to anyone get a job if you don't have one ....
