Cephalon reported to the SEC, via an 8K, that they received a subpoena from the Dept of Justice for promo practices around Provigil and Nuvigil. Cephalon spokesperson again said they are not concerned because they have such a great Compliance Dept and follow all of the laws, etc. We, who work there, know how crooked VB and KL are and how they sweep everything under the carpet... They should both resign, as a result of their failure to protect the company and shareholders. I know that they were told about multiple compliance infractions, but held nobody accountable for this, except the people who tried to help them, by turning issues in. Teva says they are still on track to close the deal. Apparently, the CEO of Teva has no fiduciary responsibility to his shareholders, bc he just doesn't know specifics (as he lied and said) and doesn't care.
