Okay, what am I missing here.
Supposedly, the high price of drugs in the US is justified by INNOVATION and FREE MARKET dynamics, yet we are just as bad at scaling up drug production, as we were at N95 mask production (which required govt stimulus) and as we were at scaling up vaccine production (which required govt guarantees).
So... why is this Wall Street dividend growth machine not able to perform?
Too many job cuts over the years, to feed the Wall Street dividend growth machine. Why not just cut the freaking dividend, so that you have the freaking production scale up capacity? Not rocket science, ladies....
