Happy to see our CEO be one of the highest paid in the industry when we are lucky to get a 2% merit increase this year for busting our asses to pull off his miracles.

How does he sleep at night? Probably counting all of his millions

Here are the lies and truths about the "Dave Ricks" of the corporate aristocracy:

LIES

  • They are not irreplaceable.
  • They are not without serious flaw in their moral relativism.
  • Their individual ability to drive meaningful gains in large corporations.
  • They drive research and development to greatly impact shareholder value.
TRUTHS
  • They breed a massive disconnect in our United States of America culture.
  • They are now professional politicians and social reconstructionist motivated for personal gain.
  • They have brought forward in America an ingrained culture that condones cheating.
Dave Ricks legacy is the same as many in the United States corporate board rooms. Excessive avarice that is condoned in collusive actions that lack just-minded integrity, principle, ethics & moral foundation. Dave Ricks and many others simply do not care.

He acts with a self bias, MORAL RELATIVISM principle.

Dave Ricks, with all his title, is the epitome of hypocrisy perfected in American corporate idolatry.

[Dave Ricks is chairman and chief executive officer of Eli Lilly and Company. He became CEO in January 2017 and was elected chairman of the company’s board effective June 2017.
A Lilly veteran for more than 20 years, Dave served as president of Lilly Bio-Medicines from 2012 to 2016. Previously, he was president of Lilly USA, the company’s largest affiliate, from 2009 to 2012. He served as president and general manager of Lilly China, operating in one of the world’s fastest-growing emerging markets, from 2008 to 2009. And he was general manager of Lilly Canada from 2005 to 2008, after roles as director of pharmaceutical marketing and national sales director in that country. Dave joined Lilly in 1996 as a business development associate and held several management roles in U.S. marketing and sales before moving to Lilly Canada.
Dave earned a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in 1990 and a master of business administration degree from Indiana University in 1996.
Dave is on the board of Adobe and is chairman of the board of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). He also serves on the board of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. Dave is a member of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) CEO Steering Committee, The Business Council, Business Roundtable and the National Council for Expanding American Innovation (NCEAI). He serves on the Riley Children’s Foundation’s board of governors. .Note: Claim 1st Amendment Rights of expressing opinions about people in positions of power, wealth and platform that need to lead with the highest integrity and change what needs changed in their sphere of control and power.. These are only opinions with no belief they will impact corporate America in a positive manner. Although that would be highly desirable as our culture degrades.]

LIES

  • They are not irreplaceable. (Let's see how Dave Ricks personally gets our R&D on track.)
  • They are not without serious flaw in their moral relativism. (He'll be 'shuck n jivin' if donanemab goes full South to never become a medicine.)
  • Their individual ability to drive meaningful gains in large corporations. (Can he reverse this equity slide if the research team, who actually drives this bus can't get it done; Biogen gets approval with one powerful, positive trial; and no words echoing from his CEO altar can change things?)
  • They drive research and development to greatly impact shareholder value. (Can Dave do any of what needs done?! He's the main man of PhRMA. He has all the vision and answers.)
TRUTHS
  • They breed a massive disconnect in our United States of America culture.
  • They are now professional politicians and social re-constructionist motivated for personal gain.
  • They have brought forward in America an ingrained culture that condones cheating.

Down ~10% in one day. No buying opp. Ricks, David A., the man, the legend. He ought to return 25% of his $0 acquired stock grants from last 2 quarters. New Board rules.

While kiss ass "financial showmen" like Jimmy Cramer tout LLY as a great investment....and it may recover well with our pipeline, etc. It is IRRELEVANT to CHARACTER, ACCOUNTABILITY and INTEGRITY in how we run this big "a$$" of a business. Don't let a vulgarity in word (i.e. a$$) distract you from what we all should do: TELL our CORPORATE ETHICS and BOARD that DAVE RICKS needs to be held accountable from one after another DISCOVERED acts of illegal, immoral and unethical actions here at Lilly. This is the company you work at....is that all? He is absolutely accountable. And should lose wealth and lose his status and position. PERIOD.

Exclusive: Lilly hit by staff accusations, FDA scrutiny at COVID drug factories

What was the ranting message on DEI about? He seems to be pushing his liberal CA agenda these days. Guess what Lilly? You are going to push away as many people as you attract. Politics do not belong in business. PERIOD. the company can and should tell us to be ethical, have respect for all employees and demonstrate integrity. Doesn't mean it is happening. Look at Branchburg, Smiley.....goes on and on. But a high stock price protects our leaders who are utterly incompetent.
