Are we still going to have our cars tracked?
Hope you are aware there are lazy people TOP TO BOTTOM in your company. In fact, they could be sitting next to you in your C- suite office. Are gunna call them out too?? Fair balance would look better on you than this pitiful way of pumping your chest. Go do something useful.I hate that you even get a car. I know how little you work and that 90% of your car use is personal. Damn straight I am going to track your lazy rear.
truth! and when fat, diabetic, fatty liver accountants leave, just hire another.....Get rid of the cars; provide a taxable stipend like competitors do! Field folks have cushy jobs to begin with - if they leave, just hire another Ken or Barbie.....
It’s not as easy as finding one of you desperate business management majors from a directional university for the field, but it can be done.truth! and when fat, diabetic, fatty liver accountants leave, just hire another.....

Thank you for such an honest post!!I'm glad they track us...I work hard and many GSK are just plain Lazy. I work in the South Florida area, and many customers will see me and not the other reps...so get off your DEAD ass and do something!
Don‘t our reps have to reimburse the company for personal mileage? If not, than personal use needs to be charged as taxable income.I hate that you even get a car. I know how little you work and that 90% of your car use is personal. Damn straight I am going to track your lazy rear.
I’m sure tracking could be a part of multiple ways of keeping up, however, vehicle insurance discounts was most likely the main reason. Always finacial!!The whole reason for tracking reps is to make sure you are in the field 9-5. The company doesn’t trust their reps. They stopped the program because, as usual, GSK didn’t think this through. The tracking device voided the Volvo warranty. Duh. Good luck.
If they admit that they are tracking your hours, then you are no longer a salary employee and can SUE for overtime hours not paid. They may not be able to track your hours legally if you are salaried, the man can still take into consideration what your tracked hours look like and put the screws to ya in every other aspect of your job.If they admit that they are tracking your hours, then you are no longer a salary employee and can SUE for overtime hours not paid. How do I know? I just got a big fat check from IQVIA from a contract gig after a layoff and before starting
The outside rep exemption is only because they “can’t track hours” for sales people. However, with new tech, if they are tracking your hours electronically and or remotely, that no longer applies
Get paid, kings
