A man without a back bone is less than half a man . This company is full of lap dogs , yes men a masters of BS .

Some facts :

According to IMS data metrogel 1 % was worth 110 million to Galderma over the last 12 months . How much of that went back to the sales force ? Most DSM , DSRs made a pittance . Quotas were inflated to meet profit goals , while not paying the renenue drivers ( sales men and woman ) .

Although the future lies with the continuing success of epidou and oracea , both those divisions have struggled over the last two years to make their numbers and pay their salespeople. Both divisions have seen the highest turnover of salespeople . Some of the best DSMs and DSRs in both divisions have made half that of counterparts in other divisions , who have had lower rankings than them.

Low revenue/volume territories have way the higher commission checks than huge revenue territories . Makes prefect business sense ya'll , reward your lowest earners . Let's make sure the Pediatric division makes good money while a salesperson in Galderma selling 40 more epidou a week takes out a second mortgage .

this company is all about setting the sales quotas in stone , but changes rebate cards every other week , infuriating doctors , confusing staff and making us in sales look like jack asses.

Galderma and Theracutix has largely been run by weak leaders , with weaker marketing managers. They have over the last three years offered up a number to Francios that doesn't make sense then held the sales force to it . They wanted that position of leadership , to be called leader , but failed when the pressure went on . Better to protect that 401 K and pretend to be a leader than actually stand for something . Easier to blame the company woes on the very top leadership then fight for your people . Standing up the front doesn't make you a leader.

Look at the turnover this year , doesn't that say something . Just wait until 2014 , 25% turnover won't be out of the question . But wait ya'll let's change the card , blame your predecessor for this mess , blame MC , blame your dog he ate your homework .

The $7.50 in town lunch won't keep me around for much longer . This just make any sense anymore .
 




the morale in theracutix is in the gutter . if you started out the year badly then got a new fancy card you are good. otherwise you got rewarded with a high baseline in grow for dough and didn't make a nickel . this division is the red headed step child . we get low bonus payouts but are told that the company is proud how we battle and finish hard. WTF . I want to get out of this division it is a cluster . that metro number quoted by the OP doesn't surprise me the division doesn't know anything other then being re active . they straight up screwed us on metro

Not fair !!!! We are paying our really important pieces in the sales process . These people bring huge value , namely the NAMs . They are always filling up your email with MC wins and good news . What could we achieve without them .

My national account manager is milk toast . This job could be done by one or two people . They are really overpaid excuse makers . Sorry to hear things are so bad over in theracutix I'm in another sales force & we are making ok money still .
 




C'mon everyone. You know this thing is a cruise ship and not a speed boat. The company can't just change things overnight...well, unless the commissions are too high, the rebates cost too much or we need to manage our samples better.

tushay . perhaps we need to lean up a bit then . thin the middle manager fat . become more of a speed boat , shoot we are not that big!

I do agree with another poster Peds division is a lost leader idea just like division A&C they rolled into Peds . seems like a waste . my theracutix counterpart is over the card changes and is talking about leaving galderma

time to replace FF he has in a short amount of time wrecked this company for the salespeople . new leadership could emerge if they had a chance . the change really begins at the very top

So the more you did over the years and the more you contributed = more quota you will carry for each new quarter and new year. That is why the Ped team gets paid even though they contribute very little to the overall picture. The truth is we are running out of product Ie Metro and they were not going to pay out on a product that stopped contributing profit mid way through the year. Also, the real pressure for sales and profits are on Epiduo and Oracea. Clobex has a little more than a year to go and then it is gone. The real question is what are they going to do with all of the extra employees with a shrinking product base and shrinking sales and profits? I am sure we will get some interesting spin by the home office people at the upcoming POA meetings and the launch of the new rosacea drug that I am sure has sky high expectations going forward.

This company is no longer growing therefore, you cannot expect us to make the money we made when the company and the leadership now long gone was focused on growing this thing. Now they are hanging on the best they can but it is not going to go on forever. No products no growth and profit. Also, our stuff is not that unique and Managed care is not going to pay for it unless they give away the farm. The head count on that team and in marketing and home office is severely bloated and needs to be cut. A once great company is now a former shell of itself and it is sad for all who are still hanging on and hopping for a better future.

That's right. You said it . "the Ped team gets paid even though they contribute very little " . On what planet does this make sense ? Also , what other posters have said on here , managed care account managers getting paid even though they contribute very little . Even those among us with a tiny brain can tell something is wrong with paying those more who contribute less .

There appears to be plenty of fat to trim , but instead we cruise along with most salespeople earning less and less C dollars every year. That is insane. The model here is broken .

Layoffs are really the only way ahead , lets start with the belly fat in Texas. HIRING FREEZE > One national sales manager per division , marketing head count cut in half , support staff in analytics roles cut in half , one sales division cut or merged , regional medical scientist team cut by 60% . Just a start
 




it will happen it is inevitable. Shrinking profits bloated departments, Embarrassing sales and marketing leadership. The truth is the company was structured to generate over 2 Billion in gross sales working off of the margins we saw in 2005-2007. The fact is we are losing and or have lost key products. Acquisitions did not come to fruition and now the cost of product access is over the top. It was a good ride but it is coming to an end within the next 12 - 24 months. Forget profit sharing, more shrinking commissions and all of the management feel good speeches cannot fix this. We are leaderless anyway. The business reality is that you cannot grow this thing with the current product offerings and in the current business and managed care environment. Also, limited growth opportunities in the pipeline and those product offerings will not generate the sales and profits of products such as the Clobex MetroGel brands that are now gone or soon to be gone. By December of 2014 it will not be a merry Christmas at Galderma. Plan now or suffer the consequences.
 




Two sales divisions . Half the head count in Dallas . No more big inner circle trips for all home office personal . I'm home office . Let me be honest , it is easier for dallas based employees to make decisions about the sales force they won't like than to piss off the guy you'll see on the links or at the bar. People pleasing in dallas in a full time job . Hey we are getting more for less $ . Look at who is doing all our sales training for nothing ! The shit they feed the sales force esp the big demand drivers is plan evil at the core
 








Theracutix is the worst division . No payouts worth a crap anymore . Only ones that make dough have baby quotas . I drive big volume and get next to nothing . Every meeting we see how as a division we carry the company but most reps are here are totally over it . It plain sucks to be here now . I should be over in Peds making better money.
 




See the above post on contribution rates it is right on. Also, we have the worst Sales and Marketing teams of any of the teams. Arrogant on top of the fact they really do not care about us or if we make anything. We used to have people at the top that cared about the reps and would fight for us. Those people are long gone and now we have people that only care about themselves and their profit sharing which seems by the way is gone as well.

Cannot wait for the latest management book BS coming our way at the next POA. I am sure we will see the pictures of the family from their latest family trip funded by our efforts.

Time for some real leadership with some real vision for a change.

Who went to Harvard business school here ? Like the first post I have very little faith in leadership in Theracutix . The way we have been paid has changed 3x this year alone ! I agree with what has been said on this post . It is time to open your eyes people this division is a sad place to be . They robbed many of us all year and now want us to kill ourselves on Brimo so we can buy a Tonka toy for the kids and have some $$$$$ to buy egg nog at Christmas when the neighbors pay a visit .

We are asked to make the this a billion $$$ drug and then paid like gas station clerk compared to other divisions , when will this change ?
 




BJ and FH are able to make a minimum bonus on Mirvaso of $100,000 and as much as $275,00 each depending on the # of RX we deliver before Nov.30

Don't think Galderma is so generous to us with the $15 while taking away the
original 65% primary product and changing it to 25% .

The bulk of the cash goes up, up and up.

He really is a phoney. Cares more about his next watch and what car he is driving than about us. Leadership and integrity ? I don't think so. These guys are running this thing right into the ground. It will all come to a screeching halt for us December of 2014 when Clobex Spray goes away and the current products are not hitting the goals.

But don't worry BJ you can always blame the sales force for lack of execution of your lame visual aid. the post on FH is spot on.
