Can't believe they keep the TO folks who post here

We could reduce head count by 50% at T.O. All you do all day is go to worthless meetings and go to the gym. By the way, Cafe Pharma was designed for field sales, not all you HOSOBS! I could care less about the internal alphabet soup you are always complaining about. Find your own site. Go to a yoga class. Watch CNN. Send a check to Obama. Pound sand. Go surf. Recycle something.

I find it helpful to read all the department's gripes. I get a better holistic view of the issues in our company. I think this is a good natural evolution and I see it on all the company boards. I read several of them and even respond because I have friends who left Amgen to work there- Baxter, Gilead, Amylin, Genzyme, Genentech to name a few.

AND I have learned a lot about sales from reading posts here, too.

I wish people would write a little more for the non-department reader so we can all follow along. It's interesting and powerful.

Change is good. Evolution is interesting. Shows the need. Can you find the good here or are you just a stuck in the mud, unable to evolve, complainer?

Love,
A Director in Manufacturing

And continuing on this thought- I've learned a good deal about R&D, our Safety department, ARI, etc. It's good. Really good. I do hate the numbnuts who swear, post stupid things about masturbation, or just side track all of us from the issues.

I find it very very interesting to see how fast some posts are cleared and have learned who has some power. It makes me enormously suspicious and I have been able to do some internal research about such VPs. You know, keep your enemies close sort of thing.

It's all part of survival in this tough environment where ego, BS, and power rule the VP pool.

Be careful out there and go take on the day.

BMS' board is interesting at the moment...

Seems sales staff there are now going through testing assessments to keep their jobs. Last year it was bottom 20% stuff. Remember when Amgen tried the bottom 10% effort ala GE?
