Can we talk about what’s happening

12 people were fired over the phone with no explanation. Some reps doing nothing wrong, some doing something they didn’t know was wrong, and some doing some things that corporate may not like, but that’s how things are in real life when you work with medical authorizations. No one is doing Medicare fraud like Orthofix was. Who would want to come work for a company knowing they would fire good people with no severance and no explanation? Now these investigations are going nationwide? People who have not yet had compliance come to their region need to start looking for another job while you have a chance. No one should have to live and work in fear of being fired for no reason. What is the big picture here for why BV would do this?

Completely nailed it, BV will try to spin it as a Norther California issue and pay a fine. What about the solid reps they fired and their families? They will never recover in Norther Cal either, a few reps left to process orders and how the hell will they have hire and train people? "We had to fire the entire region, when can you start". Amazing that the AVP is still around???????

Another big volume rep fired today with no explanation. WTF IS HAPPENING. If you were interviewed by WW you probably have 1 month before you get fired for unexplained reasons

I knew some of the people who were terminated and they were super by the book with Medicare. Not foraging, no white out, and still were let go. There were also people who admitted to filling out section B who were given only a warning and are still working for this terrible company. WWs power trip cannot be stopped, she clearly gets off on this. Any clue how she picks her victims? Both 10+year reps and new hires have been fired now.

What you’re saying is not correct. Nobody terminated was super by the book with Medicare. You are seriously clueless or being misled.

And you know this how? If one of those sets of initials is who I think it is, that stinks as they were one of the old guard who helped build this place. However, things were different back then and we were all taught very differently when hired...

Making my point... being part of the old guard and being taught one way is exactly the problem. I highly suggest changing from the way you were taught early on or you’ll be next.

GT was by the book, or as much as you can be in this shady business. He absolutely kills it in HA, has all the business.

Most reps with high approval rates should get fired because they obviously right the letters for the office, no way a doctor will actually sit down and write 5 letters a month??? Same with part B, office gets annoyed if you have to walk them through it, of course we do it. I fit every patient at home, because I don't want to sit at an office or Starbucks because half of the patients have boots on, and cannot get around. My first field ride after getting hired went to patients house with rep and was taught how to do LOMN's.

Basically its a crap business and a crap company, I have an interview with Wright Medical and Stryker foot and ankle this week. I can work with the same doctors and leave this shady business.

See you Bio hazard

Good luck-you’ll need it. You’ll last 6 mo this with either of those companies. GT by the book. That’s hysterical.

wish the company would own up to the reality that we need to go out and fit patients at home in order to get them the device. Do you work a level 1 trauma hospital? Those pts are going to live upwards of 1-2 hours away at times and simply will not come in to town for this, esp when they aren't very mobile to begin with, don't have transportation, the list goes on. Offices do not want all of these pts coming back in for a bone stim ( unless you have an office with a PT clinic etc with some space for this) or a brace, etc. You start clogging up a room on a regular basis and that order is going to start going to your competitor.

I don't see what the big deal is, DJ, Ofix and Biomet all do this and are fully supported/instructed by their companies to do so.

It's some. Biohazard is trying to go public and doesn't want to get busted on any more of its nefarious activities. Once we are, you can go back to doing whatever you need to to get an order.

the point is that there is nothing nefarious about fitting pts at home- it's a standard in the dme world- stims, bracing, tens, et al. I try to fit most in offices, and some offices prefer and appreciate this professionalism, but it simply isn't feasible or efficient enough for what we have to do in the field. Everyone know this, it's just ridiculous.
